Woodhall Manor :: Wedding Photography :: For Richard & Jess

On the 14th of November we were back at Woodhall Manor for the wedding of Richard and Jess. The day's wedding photography started in Felixstowe, Suffolk for the preparation shots. After the service in Felixstowe we traveled to Woodhall Manor and between the wind and showers we got a great set of images. The day was really dramatic as the wind was servere bringing down trees onto powerlines and cutting off the whole of Sutton Village and parts of Woodbridge. Fortunately Richard and Jess had opted for a candlelit reception so the lack of electric was not a problem in fact it resulted in one of the most fantastic atmospheres at a wedding with the staff of Woodhall Manor lighting the venue with hundreds and hundreds of candles!

Ipswich Waterfront and Bramford Wedding Photography for Matt & Amanda

After Fridays wedding at Isaacs we were back at Ipswich's waterfront for the start of our shoot for Matt and Amandas wedding. Ipswich's waterfront is a great location which once all the building work is completed is going to be even more stunning for wedding and portrait photography. This wedding was on the November 7th and with the wedding service at 4pm we knew the only natural light would be for the pre-wedding shots after the service we used off camera flash, and whatever lighting we could find!
Amanda and Matt had a great wedding and filled the day with personal touches that made it really special.

Isaacs :: Ipswich Waterfront :: Wedding Photography for Paul and Sharon

Our first wedding in November was also our first wedding at Isaacs on the Ipswich waterfront. We had shot on the waterfront in Ipswich way back in march and we were looking forward to going back. Isaacs is a new venue for weddings in Ipswich and it is a beautiful old building with a modern contemporary feel. Paul and Sharon were great in front of the camera and they made our job an abosolute breeze! Their girls were fantastic too and we got one of our favourite bridesmaids shots which you can see below.
We can definately reccomend Isaacs as a great wedding venue in a amazing location.

Woodhall Manor - Sutton - Woodbridge - Wedding Photography for Ian and Lisa

Woodhall Manor is fast becoming our most popular destination. As you will see from past blog posts and many future ones we are spending more and more time shooting weddings at this fantastic venue. Woodhall Manor is a dedicated wedding venue where you have exclusive use for your wedding including the beautiful manor house and all of its twelve bedrooms and your own chef for breakfast the morning after! Woodhall Manor is owned my Tammy Madge and the team is lead by Jose the manager and his two right hand women Faye and Hannah. Woodhall Manor is based close to Woodbridge in Suffolk in the small village of Sutton within easy reach of the A12 and A14.

Enough of the advert for Woodhall Manor and more about Ian and Lisa's wedding and their wedding photography. We shot this wedding in late October on the 31st. Ian and Lisa where a great couple and Lisa easily wins our prize for most organized bride of 2009! Good organising really pays off with a fantastic day which run really smoothly and that is down to the hard work Lisa and Ian put in before the big day! This also makes our job so much easier resulting in great images of the many different elements of their day from both the bride and groom preparation through to the sky lanterns and fireworks. Thanks Lisa and Ian for making us so welcome!

A quick note for Dave ( you know who you are ) Video Light rules! ;o)

Belstead Brook Hotel Ipswich - Wedding Photography for Leanne and Paul

A week after Nathan and Lianne's wedding we where back at the Belstead Brook Hotel in Ipswich for the wedding of Leanne and Paul! We where treated with the same great weather and great service you expect at the Belstead Brook. This was a wedding I needed to get right as both Leanne and Paul where black-belts in various martial arts, not a wedding to leave your lense cap on ;o)

I needn't of worried as Paul and Leanne was one of the nicest couples who made myself and Kim feel so welcome - this was a hugely enjoyable wedding to cover. I hope you enjoy some of the images here.
